Fine & mainly dry Cloud in south at first seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
A cold start to the day over Scotland and northern England as well as Ireland. Any mist and fog patches will be clearing quickly and then the day will be mainly fine, cool and with some good spells of sunshine. Cloud and some showery bursts of rain over the south of England and Wales at first, but this clearing away quite quickly. The afternoon is then going to be bright and mainly dry, but staying cool. A few showers over eastern coasts of England with a few over western Wales and southwest England. Highs at 7 to 11C.
Sunday Night
Breezy through southeast England this evening, perhaps with an odd shower. These will be fading away and then it should become dry through the early hours of the morning. Clearer skies and lighter winds to the north and west of the country. These will be allowing temperatures to fall quickly. As this happens mist and fog patches are going to form, especially over southern Scotland, northern England, Wales and western England. Lows of 3C in the southeast, nearer 0 to -1C under the clearer skies and lighter winds to the north and west.
Monday
A fine start to the morning for most of England, Scotland and Wales. There could be some morning mist and fog patches and it will be chilly too. These clear quickly and then the morning is going to be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. Increasing cloud and winds over western Scotland bringing outbreaks of rain, these turning more persistent. Into the afternoon it becomes wet through Ireland and western Scotland, the rain turning heavy at times in Ireland. For England and Wales it stays dry, although the sunshine turns hazy in the west. Highs of a cold 8 to 11C.
Tuesday
A wet start to morning through the Midlands and the east of England. There could be a few heavy bursts here and there too. The rain slowly fades away to the east in the afternoon, although probably not drying up on eastern coasts of East Anglia until evening. Drier and brighter weather to the north and west with sunny spells, although there could be some cloud and spots of rain in western Scotland. Tops of 8 to 11C.
