Sunday
A breezy day to come with plenty of cloud affecting much of the country. There will be cloud and showers affecting the west of Wales and England as well as Scotland. More eastern areas will be brighter with some sunny spells and it should be dry here. The afternoon improves with the showers slowly fading away. There will be good spells of sunshine around and much of the country is then going to be dry. Showers affect western parts of Wales and England, with a few heavy showers in western Scotland too. Highs will be near 14C in the south of England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Sunday Night
A dry start to the night with clear skies at first. Winds will be increasing across Wales and southwest England and these are possibly going to be reaching gale force at times later. The band of rain and strong winds will be passing northwards and will be heavy at times as it does so, probably reaching Northern Ireland, northern England, the Midlands and East Anglia. Winds will some showers to the rear of the rain band through southern Wales and southern England. Staying dry across the north of northern England and Scotland. Lows near 3 to 7C.

Monday
An area of heavy rain and severe gales passing northwards through northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, and perhaps becoming stuck across central Scotland for several hours. To the south the weather will be drier and windy with some showers on western coasts of England and Wales, a few heavy. Much of central and eastern England will be drier with some sunny spells and passing showers. Gales across northern England, Wales and the Midlands. Highs at 7 to 11C.

Tuesday
A better start to the day with sunny spells and mainly dry weather across much of England, eastern Wales and Scotland. There will be some showers in western Wales and western Scotland as well as western Ireland. It should be remaining dry in the afternoon through much of central and eastern England and Wales as well as eastern Scotland. Tops near 8 to 12C.
