Monday
A windy day to come with winds touching gale force around south western coasts. Showers are expected across south west England. The rest of Britain starts overcast, wet and misty with outbreaks of rain, the heaviest of which will be across Wales, north west England and western Scotland. This rain will be clearing from central and southern England along with Wales before the afternoon replaced by showers in the west, some heavy. In the afternoon the persistent rain will be across Scotland as it clears the north of England. Mainly dry and sunny for Northern Ireland. Temperatures will be above normal with highs of 10 to 15C north to south.
Monday Night
A breezy evening and night. Rain across northern Scotland will clear. A number of showers will affect Northern Ireland and western parts of Wales, England and Scotland tonight. Central and eastern areas should be dry with occasional clear spells. Lows of 6 to 11C.
Tuesday
Occasional showers are likely across western parts of Britain this morning. The bulk of the country should be fair and dry with sunnier spells. In the afternoon the showers become more widespread and heavy across Wales, Northern Ireland and western parts of England and Wales while the east remains dry and mostly sunny. In the evening an area of moderate to heavy rain sweeps north east across much of the country and clears overnight leaving quite a few showers, some heavy. Expect highs of 10 to 14C.
Wednesday
Apart from a few showers across East Anglia and the south east, most places look fair and dry this morning with sunny intervals. Some light rain develops across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and Wales. The remainder of the United Kingdom stays dry. It will be a rather breezy day and these winds will strengthen to gale force in the west and north west tonight as outbreaks of rain affect Northern Ireland, Scotland and north west England along with Wales. Expect highs of 9 to 14C.
