Saturday
Still windy at first, especially in the west but the winds ease today. Outbreaks of rain will be found across much of the United Kingdom and will be locally heavy adding to the thaw of snow. Later this morning this rain clears from western and central areas with showers in the north west. In the afternoon the rain across eastern parts of England and Scotland clears as it turns dry and sunnier. Another area of rain though moves into Wales and could be heavy with further showers for western Scotland. Expect highs of 5 to 11C.
Saturday Night
In the evening and area of moderate to heavy rain will affect southern Scotland northern England and Wales with showers across Scotland. This clears with a few shower still in the north west tonight. Rain and showers across East Anglia and the south east clear before morning. Across central areas it becomes cold enough for a touch of frost by dawn. Expect lows of 1 to 5C.
Sunday
Apart from some rain in the north of Scotland with rain for much of Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon, it's a fine, dry day to come across the United Kingdom with some good spells of sunshine. Still further outbreaks of rain to come across the north of Scotland into the evening and night. The bulk of Britain will remain dry under high pressure with clear spells allowing a light frost and some dense fog patches to develop by morning. Highs of 5 to 10C.
Monday
Overall high pressure dominates the country. But a front lies across northern Scotland and here further rain will persist for much of the day. For England, Wales and Northern Ireland it's a dry, bright day with some good spells of sunshine ion offer for most places. More cloud comes into the west tonight but overall it stays dry with a patchy, light frost in places. Highs of 5 to 10C.
