Saturday
A brisk north wind persists across much of Britain but especially in the east. A cold frosty start to the day. A number of snow showers will affect Northern Ireland and western and eastern parts of Scotland, England and Wales and some may be heavy. Highs of 2 to 5C.
Saturday Night
Through the course of the evening and night there remains the risk of snow showers around western and eastern coasts of Scotland, England and west Wales. For most places it will be a dry cold evening and night with frost developing becoming widespread and sharp overnight. Expect minimums of -1 to -5C.
Sunday
Overall we'll see little overall change in the weather today with snow showers likely to affect Northern Ireland, Wales and western and eastern parts of England and Scotland. Most central areas will stay dry and quite sunny. The snow showers again retreat to right along the coasts during the evening and night with clear skies and another widespread frost inland. Highs of 3 to 5C.
Monday
An area or rain across Northern Ireland and south west England moves into Wales then into central England and may be preceded by snow. Scattered snow showers continue across northern Scotland and will be close to the east coasts of England. The rest of Britain looks dry. Rain, perhaps with snow over high ground, persists across Northern Ireland, Wales and parts of southern England in the evening and night. The rain will be heavy across Northern Ireland. Look for top temperatures of 3 to 7C.
