Tuesday
A cold, frosty start across much of the United Kingdom under largely sunny skies. Just some patches of ground fog in some valleys that will soon disperse. In the afternoon all areas will be staying dry. As we go through the afternoon more cloudy gradually comes in across Northern Ireland and western parts of England, Wales and Scotland while the rest of Britain keeps sunny skies. With light winds it will feel mild with highs of 5 to 10C.
Tuesday Night
With high pressure dominating it will be staying dry across the whole of the United Kingdom. Generally we may have some large amounts of cloud but with light winds, any place that keeps any lengthy clear spells will see a frost forming by morning along with some mist and fog patches. Lows down to 2C to +2C.
Wednesday
It will be staying dry across Britain through the day. More of a breezy and cloud is expected across south west England and western Wales. Elsewhere the cloud should be more broken with some clear spells. Dry for the evening and night with a widespread frost develop in most places. Breezy around the channel with some mist developing across northern England and southern Scotland. Look for top temperatures of 5 to 8C north to south.
Thursday
The strong cell of high pressure maintains today. Apart from a few scattered showers in the far north of Scotland, it's looking like another dry day to come with a mix of sunny spells and cloud. A cold, clear and frosty night for many with some fog patches also likely. Look for top temperatures of 6 to 8C and lows of 0 to -4C inland.
