Cold but sunny A hard frost tonight seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
For Northern Ireland a cloudy morning with some patchy bits of rain but this dies away as it brightens up through the day. The rest of the United Kingdom will have a fine dry day with virtually unbroken amounts of sunshine after a very cold and frosty start. Temperatures will be below their seasonal average with tops of 5 to 9C and with a brisk east wind along the channel, feeling rather cold here.
Sunday Night
During the evening and night it will be staying dry right across Britain. With light winds and clear skies, it will become cold tonight with a widespread, sharp frost and some mist patches to develop before morning. Lows down to 0 to -6C.
Monday
It will be staying dry across Britain through the day but we expect an area of cloud to move in across much of Scotland and eastern parts of England. For central and western areas the cloud will be more broken with sunnier spells. Through the course of the evening and night this cloud may spread further west but where any cloud breaks persist a frost may develop. Look for top temperatures of 5 to 9C north to south.
Tuesday
The strong cell of high pressure maintains today. Apart from some early patchy rain in the south east of England at first this morning, it's looking like another dry day to come with a mix of sunny spells and cloud. A cold, clear and frosty night for many with some fog patches also likely. Look for top temperatures of 6 to 10C.
