Saturday
Dry across England and Wales this morning with a cold, frosty start. Any mist patches to soon clear to sunny spells. Some cloud develops through the afternoon but it stays dry. Outbreaks of rain are expected across parts of Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. This will become light and patchy perhaps getting into parts of northern England during the afternoon. Highs of 7 to 11C with light to moderate winds from the north west.

Saturday Night
For western parts of Scotland some light rain is expected to persist into the evening and night. The rest of Scotland should be dry but rather cloudy. Dry for England and Wales with some clear spells in the evening but overnight there is likely to be a good deal of cloud so not so cold and mainly frost free. Lows down to 4 to 6C.

Sunday
For much of northern Britain today looks rather disappointingly cloudy with some mainly light rain at times though this looks a bit heavier across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. For central and southern England and Wales it's essentially dry and brighter with a few showers across southern England. Dry across south west England and Northern Ireland this evening but sporadic outbreaks of rain are likely for the rest of Britain. Overnight any rain becomes confined to northern Scotland. Look for top temperatures of 9 to 11C north to south.

Monday
Outbreaks of rain will again affect much of northern Britain and while this looks light, in the morning it may be a bit heavier nears the eastern coasts of England and Scotland. To the south it remains dry but quite cloudy during the day. By tonight most places will have turned dry apart from the north of Scotland where some light rain will persist. Plenty of cloud also lingers across the country. Look for top temperatures of 8 to 13C.
