Sunday
A generally quiet day across the country in a moderate northwest wind. There will be a fair amount of cloud around, most of this through Scotland, northwest England, wales and the windward facing coasts of Ireland. There could be a few spots of rain in the hills in the west and north. The best of the sunshine will be through more eastern and southern parts of Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Most will be dry, although there is the potential for a scattering of showers to form just about anywhere in the afternoon. Highs near 9 to 12C.
Sunday Night
Thicker cloud and some more persistent rain across northern Scotland overnight, some fog shrouding the hills too. There could be a few spots of rain brishing the coasts of East Anglia and southeast England too. For most though the night is going to be dry with broken cloud. Clearer skies for southern Wales and southwest England with temperatures down to 1C in the clear skies in the southwest, 5C in Scotland.
Monday
Cloud and some outbreaks of mainly light and showery rain across northern England and much of Scotland through today. For Ireland, southern England and Wales it should be a dry day with some sunny spells. The best of the sunshine through the day will be over more southwestern parts of England, Wales and southern England. Highs around 7C in northern Scotland, 13C in the sunnnier skies of southern Wales and the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall.
Tuesday
A mild day is expected today as a ridge of high pressure builds. Morning showers fading from northeast Scotland and then for all of the country it will be a fair morning with sunny spells. The southerly winds increasing across Ireland in the afternoon, with rain into the west and south of Ireland later. For most of Scotland, Wales and England there will be some good spells of sunshine around, although this is going to be turning hazy as high cloud increases from the west. Highs will be at 10C in Scotland, perhaps to 15C in the sunshine over southern England.
