Outbreaks of rain in north Dry to the south seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
A fair day to come for much of England, Wales and southern Ireland. Morning mist patches clearing away quickly to leave the day fair with some good spells of sunshine. It should be staying dry too. Further north there will be more cloud, thanks to the proximity of a weak cold front. This is going to be bringing some outbreaks of rain across western coasts of Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as over the high ground of the Pennines. There will be little change through the day for most areas, although a tendency for brighter skies to break through in eastern Scotland. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Monday Night
Cloud and some patchy drizzle overnight for northwest England and western Scotland, although the front causing this is becoming ever weaker. Elsewhere it is going to be a dry night. The cloud is going to be more broken with the best of the clearer skies across southern parts of England and Wales. A few mist patches forming here as well with lows of -3C in southwest England, nearer 4C in the cloud over western Scotland.

Tuesday
Still some residual cloud and rain left across western and central parts of Scotland and northwest England early on Tuesday morning, but this is going to be breaking up all the time with some bright or sunny spells coming through here in the afternoon. For the rest of the country there may be some low cloud here and there at first, but this is going to be clearing to leave some good sunny spells and dry conditions. A fine afternoon for many with temperatures at 14C in southern England, 10C in northern Scotland.

Wednesday
A breezier day to come from Wednesday with the winds from the southwest. This are going to be blowing cloud and some patchy rain and drizzle onto the western coasts of Scotland, England and Wales as well as Ireland. Further east it stays breezy although there will be some warm spells of sunshine coming through here. Highs could reach a very mild 16C in southeast England, nearer 12C in western Scotland.
