Tuesday
Largely a fine, dry morning across much of the United Kingdom but some patchy light rain is likely for the north west of Scotland. More cloud too for western Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England otherwise some good sunny spells to come. For all parts of Britain it's a pleasant, dry afternoon and feeling spring like in the sunshine with highs of 8 to 12C with light to moderate winds from the south.
Tuesday Night
It becomes windy across western Britain tonight. Outbreaks of rain spread into Northern Ireland in the evening then into Scotland, northern England, Wales and south west England during the night. To the east it stays dry but clouding over. Lows down to 3 to 7C.
Wednesday
Quite mild and breezy today. It's a cloudy morning with some light rain across the northern half of Britain into Wales and south west England. In the afternoon much of England looks fair and dry but with a good deal of cloud. An area of rain is expected across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. During the night the rain then pushes back across the rest of Scotland into northern England while it stays dry further to the south. Look for top temperatures of 10 to 16C north to south.
Thursday
Windier today with rain expected across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. Dry for central and eastern England and Wales but this rain is then forecast to sweep east into all areas and become heavier in the north and west. It looks to stay wet and windy across all parts of Britain into the evening and night. While light totals are likely in the east, it does look heavy in the west. Look for top temperatures of 8 to 13C.
