Cloud and rain across Scotland through today. The most persistent of it in southern and western areas through this morning, the whole area tending to fragment into this afternoon. Rain and cloud affecting Northern Ireland as well, this always becoming more patchy. Across England and Wales it is going to be a mild and bright start to the morning. There will be a fair amount of cloud around, especially in the west. A scattering of showers breaking out through the morning, these turning more isolated into the afternoon. An area of more persistent rain into southwestern England and southern Wales in the late afternoon, this spreading into southern England and the southern Midlands by the evening. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.

Further cloud and periods of rain across northern and western Scotland. It is going to become fairly breezy here too, especially on western coasts. A few showers over northwest England and southern Wales as well as south coasts of England. Generally though the day is going to be a dry one with some clearer spells coming through. A chilly night in clearer skies to the south with a touch of ground frost and lows of 0C, nearer 4C in northern and western Scotland in cloud.

A breezy day and cooler for Scotland and northern England. There will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain over the hills of Scotland and Northern Ireland. A few showers to come across Wales, these area of showers moving into central and southern England in the afternoon with sunny spells in between. A dry day across much of southern Ireland in sunny spells. Highs at 13C in southeastern England, 8C in northern Scotland.

An area of cloud and rain spreading into southern Ireland and southern England through Sunday morning. The cloud and rain extending slowly northwards and becoming more persistent, probably reaching mid-Wales, the southern Midlands and the south of East Anglia by the evening. Drier across northern parts of Wales and northern England with some hazy spells of sunshine. Cold with more cloud through Scotland with showers turning to snow here on the hills, and becoming heavy at times. Highs near 4C in northern Scotland, 8C in southern England.
