A few showers affecting western coasts of Wales and England through the day, some of them heavy in places. Northwest Scotland is likely to be rather cloudy with some further periods of rain here. For most the day is going to be a fair one with sunny spells, and it should be dry too. Highs at a mild 15C in the south, 9C in the north.

Scattered showers over southeastern parts of England this evening, these fading away. An area of cloud and rain spreads to southern Ireland, southwest England and southern Wales, becoming more persistent through the early hours of the morning. Drier weather for northern parts of England, the Midlands and Northern Ireland. A windy night to come across Scotland with some outbreaks of rain here and a risk of gales too. Lows t 2 to 5C.
Sunday
A cloudy and damp day across southern parts of Wales and the south of England. There will be outbreaks of rain on and off through the day, the most persistent of this running along southern coasts of England. Drier weather through northern England and Ireland as well as southern Scotland with a few bright or sunny spells coming through here. Cloud and rain affecting central and northern Scotland, most of it light with the winds easing here. It will turn colder in Scotland, those showers turning wintry on the hills. Highs at 5C in central Scotland, 12C in southern England.

A wet and windy day on Monday. Low pressure brings rain north and eastwards with some of that rain heavy at times. The rain turning to snow over the hills of Wales and western England too. In the afternoon the rain turns to snow over northwest England and southern Scotland bringing as risk of blizzards on the hills. Snow showers for northern Scotland. gales through Ireland, southern Scotland and the far north of England. Highs at 2C in central Scotland, 12C in southern England.
