Monday
A fresher day to come across the United Kingdom today. For Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England it's a day of sunshine and scattered showers, most will be light but the odd heavier one can't be ruled out. For the rest of England and Wales it a dry day with good spells of sunshine. Highs to 15 to 22C.
Monday Night
This evening lots of showers to come across northern parts of Scotland these will persist overnight. Any showers across northern England soon fade early this evening leaving all of England and Wales with a fine, dry evening with sunny spells. Overnight here it remains dry with clear spells. Expect lows of 8 to 13C.
Tuesday
In the morning rain is expected across the north of Scotland and in the afternoon this spreads down into Northern Ireland. For England, Wales and the south of Scotland it's a fine, dry day and again quite warm in the south east with highs of 18 to 25C. In the evening this area of rain then spills into northern England then into all but East Anglia and the south east in the night. Quite windy in the north and west.
Wednesday
A generally cloudy, damp day to come across England and Wales for much of the day with spells of rain. Most of the rain will have cleared by the end of the afternoon. Further showers to come in the west of Scotland and also for parts of Northern Ireland. The showers continue in the north west tonight but for most of Britain it's looking fine and dry for the evening and night with well broken cloud. Gales develop in the far north west. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
