Thursday
A dry morning across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland with sunny spells. Heavy showers will affect northern and south west England in the morning along with Wales. To the east and south a fine, dry morning with sunny spells. During the afternoon the showers will become a bit more widespread and heavy with a risk of thunder. It stays fine across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs of 17 to 25C.

Thursday Night
This evening and tonight much of England and Wales will keep a good deal of cloud with some light showers or patchy light rain. For Scotland and Northern Ireland it is to stay dry and with clear spells it will become quite chilly. Expect lows of 5 to 12C north to south.

Friday
Through the day there is a risk of some showers across East Anglia and the south east of England. The rest of Britain looks fair and dry with spells of sunshine and some occasional cloud. Later some rain may reach western parts of Northern Ireland. This evening light rain across Northern Ireland spreads into western Scotland overnight. Expect highs of 17 to 22C.

Saturday
Cloudy with light rain across Scotland and northern England and Northern Ireland in the morning. This will be light and move into Wales. For central and southern parts of England it should remain dry with the best of the sunshine likely in the morning. Generally a rather cloudy evening and night across Britain with some patchy bits of drizzly rain here and there. Expect highs of 17 to 24C.
