Friday
A bright morning across England and eastern Scotland this morning. There will be some good spells of sunshine throughout. Increasing cloud across Ireland and into western Scotland and western Wales as well as western Scotland. This brings rain with it, this most persistent across Ireland. For this afternoon there will be cloud and rain in Scotland, some of it heavy in the west. More rain too over northern England and Wales, some of it heavy for north Wales and northwest England. It should stay dry across central and southern parts of England with further spells of sunshine coming through. Highs near a warm 25C in the sunshine over southern England, 16C in the rain in western Scotland.
Friday Night
Cloud and rain moving east through Scotland and England tonight, most of this clearing into the North Sea by the morning. Some residual rain may linger across southeast England until late in the night. Following behind the rain will be a fair amount of cloud. Some showers blowing onto western coasts and hills, with the risk of more persistent rain on the hills. Lows of 13 to 16C.
Saturday
A fair amount of cloud across most of the British Isles and Ireland. There will be a few spots of rain and some showers on the hills in western areas. Thicker cloud and some more persistent rain across western parts of Scotland. Through the afternoon it is going to be remaining cloudy with a few showers across hills, mainly in the west and north. The heaviest of the showers over Scottish hills, some of them heavy at times. Mainly dry for the far south of England with some sunny spells coming through. Highs near 24C in southeast England, 16C in northern Scotland.
Sunday
There will be some cloud on Sunday morning, although this is going to be broken with some sunny spells here and there. Showery spots of rain for more northern and western areas though, most of these being light. Into the afternoon the showers will become heavy over Scotland and northeast England as well as the eastern Midlands and East Anglia. The showers more scattered over western Wales, western Scotland and Ireland. Highs at 16 to 22C.
