Sunday
Plenty of cloud around through Sunday morning. There may be a few spots of rain in the wind here and there, generally over high ground. There will be some breaks in the cloud which will allow a few brighter spells to come through here and there. Into this afternoon there continues to be plenty of cloud for many areas. Some showers forming over the hills, and a few spots of rain in the wind just about anywhere. The most persistent rain across the far north of Scotland. The best of the sunshine for western parts of Wales. Highs at 23C in southeast England, 14C in northern Scotland.

Sunday Night
Showers fading through this evening. Cloud is then going to be breaking and some good clear spells will be forming overnight as a ridge of high pressure builds. There is a low risk of a shower on northeast coasts of England, but for most of the country it will be staying dry. Lows at 8 to 10C under the clearer skies, nearer 12C where there is more cloud in the southeast.

Monday
A bright start to the morning, some good spells of sunshine for much of the country. There will be some showers forming over southern Scotland and northeast England as well as East Anglia. For the afternoon those showers could be come heavy, although they are going to be generally well scattered. A general increase in cloud in the west later in the day, with some rain spreading into Ireland in the evening. Highs of 25C in any sunshine in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday
A breezy day over the southern half of the country today as an area of low pressure crosses Scotland. This is going to be bringing a fair amount of cloud with some outbreaks of rain in northern and western areas. Most of this will be patchy and generally light. Eastern parts of the country should be dry with sunny spells. The afternoon sees the patchy rain arriving i eastern England, with a drier interlude further west. Then more cloud arrives in Ireland, this bringing rain with it. Brighter for much of Scotland with sunny spells, just a few showers in the west. Highs of 16 to 25C.
