Sunday
Not a bad start to Sunday morning for most of the country. There will be some sunny spells around, the best of these through more western areas. To the east cloud is likely to be thicker and there is the risk of a few showers affecting the coasts of East Anglia. The afternoon sees most places dry and warm with light winds and some good spells of sunshine. Overall it should be dry although a few showers could form on the Pennines and perhaps the Welsh Mountains and Southern Uplands. Cloud increases over western Scotlajnd and the far west of Ireland bringing some patchy rain here by evening. Highs at 19C in northern Scotland to 25C in southern England.

The evening should be dry for most of the country with some good spells of sunshine to end the day. Cloud and periods of rain in western Ireland and western Scotland will be encroaching slowly eastwards, these becoming more persistent and heavier through the night as they cross Ireland and western Scotland. The rain may reach the far northwest of Wales by morning. For the rest of Wales and the far east of Scotland the night will be remainging dry. Lows of 8C under clearer skies in England, 13C i the cloudier parts of Ireland and western Scotland.
Monday
Monday sees the rain band tracking further east. It brings outbreaks of rain through northern England and Wales in the morning, these edging eastwards into the afternoon, although by then most of the rain will be showery. Southeastern parts of England should stay dry throughout with some sunny spells. Showers following through Scotland and Ireland, a few of them on the heavy side in the west. Temperatures at 25C in southeast England, 17C in northern Scotland.
