Wednesday
A bright start to the morning over England and Wales. Good spells of sunshie here and dry throughout the day, although cluod will be increasing. There will be more cloud over the northwest of Wales and orthern England, perhaps bringing an odd spot of rain over high ground here. Scotland will be seeing more cloud and there will be rain through central and northern areas. This rain slowly fading into the afteroon as showers break out in more southern and westrn areas. A windy day for Scotland, those winds to gale force on the coasts and hills. Northern Ireland should be dry with some sunny spels, although a tendency for cloud to be increasing. Highs near 24C in the southeast, 16C in northern Scotland.
Wednesday Night
Some rain for the north of Scotland overnight, most of it light but bringing a damp night here with plenty of cloud. Drier for southern Scotland. It will be windy for Scotland too, and as low pressure pulls away into the North Sea the rain will tend to drift onto eastern coasts. Cloud and dry weather into Northern Ireland and northwest England, where there couold be some showers on the hills. For much of England and Wales the night will be dry. There will be clear spells to the east, with thicker cloud always affecting the west where there could be some spots of rain over the Welsh Hills. Lows near 10C in the southeast, 14C in the cludier north and west.
Thursday
More rain and breezy weather to start the day over eastrn Scotland. Staying rather cludy and damp here throughout the day. There could be some scattered showers through Ireland during the morning, these drifting into west Wales, but for most of England and Wales it should be a fair start to the morning with sunny periods. These will be lasting into the afternoo, although there is the risk of an isolated shower forming across the Welsh mountains and Pennines. Highs near 13C in the wetter parts of eastern Scotland, 23C in southern England.
Friday
Rain should eventually clear from Scotland overnight into Friday and the winds easing here too. Then Friday is going to be a day of broken cloud and largely dry weather for the UK and Ireland. There will be some showers here and there, mostly on high ground and affectig the eastern coasts of England. Cloud should break in places, allowing some bright or sunny spells to come through, but always a fair amount of it around. Feeling cool in the northwest wind with highs of 16 to 21C.
