A cloudy start to the morning for the southern half of the country with some bits and pieces of drizzle around. There will be outbreaks of rain spreading back into southwest Wales and the far southwest of England. A few bright spells coming through in central and eastern parts of England. The rain turning more persistent through Wales and southwest England into the afternoon, just spots of rain to the east. The best of the sunshine through today over northern England and Northern Ireland. More sunny spells in Scotland, with some showers to the west and north. Very windy through Scotland with severe gales in the north. Highs at 15C in northern Scotland, but a muggy and very warm 24C in southeast England.

Cloudy skies for England and Wales. There will be periods of rain, most of this through Wales and the far southwest of England with some of that rain heavy in western Wales. Drier to the southeast of England. Drier for the far north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with some clearer spells here. Remaining breezy for northern Scotland. Lows at a warm 16C in southern England, 11 in northern Scotland.
Sunday
Cloudy through southern parts of England and southeast Wales bringing some spots of rain here. This may be more persistent along southern coasts. Showers for northern and western Scotland with a few showers over Northern Ireland. Elsewhere the day should be brighter with sunny spells and should be dry as well. Staying muggy in the southeast at 24C, 16C in northern Scotland.
Monday
Any cloud and rain should be clearing from southeast England early this morning. It should then be brighter with sunny spells and will be dry as well. A few showers in western parts of England and Wales. There could be further showers for northern and western Scotland, some of these heavy, but central and eastern parts of Scotland remaining dry and bright. Tops of 16C in northwest Scotland, 22C in southern England.
