Sunday
A cloudy start to the day across southern and southeastern parts of England. There will be some outbreaks of rain with the cloud, a few moderate bursts coming through at times. The cloud and rain should slowly clear to the east in the afternoon, although it may stay cloudy in the southeast. For the rest of the country the day is likely to be a mix of broken cloud and sunny spells. Showers will be affecting the north and west of Scotland, a few into northern Wales too. Elsewhere it should be dry with tops of 15 to 22.
Sunday Night
A dry start to the night for most of the country, although showers will be continuing across the west of Scotland, perhaps merging into a longer period of rain. Another area of rain does look set to move into the southwest of England, this then spreading to Wales and southern England through the night, and becoming heavy at times. Lows near 15C in southern England, 10C in central Scotland.
Monday
A wet start to Monday morning over East Anglia and the southeast. The risk of some heavy rain here at first. A further band of showery rain moves through Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland, this passing through Wales too. There may be brief brighter spells managing to break through the cloud from time to time with temperatures at 14 to 21C. Tuesday
A brighter day is likely. There will be some sunny spells around, the best of these in eastern areas. Showers are going to be breaking out again, most of them to the north and west. These merging into longer spells of rain from time to time. Later in the day the showers tending to affect mainly the east of Scotland. Highs of 14 to 22C.
