Monday
Very windy across eastern parts of England this morning with gusts of 50-60 mph along with some heavy rain. The rain clears this morning and the gale force winds begin to ease during the afternoon but staying windy overall. Lots of showers develop across Wales and central and southern England during the day with heavier and more persistent rain expected across northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The showers may tend to ease off in the west later in the afternoon as it turns sunnier and drier. Highs of 15 to 19C.
Monday Night
Windy, still some rain to come for this evening and the night across Scotland. Most of the showers for England and Wales will have faded with most places dry with clear spells developing. Just a few showers around Irish Sea coasts. Expect lows of 9 to 12C.
Tuesday
Another quite windy day to come. For eastern parts of England it should remain dry with the best of the sunshine. Elsewhere some sunshine too but lots of showers develop and some will be heavy. In the evening the showers become confined to northern Scotland. Much of the night will be dry with clear spells. Expect highs of 16 to 20C.
Wednesday
During the morning rain reaches the far south west of England and in the afternoon becomes heavy spreading into Wales and central and southern England. The far east of England stays dry until evening with showers today for Scotland today. A wet and windy evening and night with heavy rain for most areas and gales in the west and the south. Expect highs of 16 to 19C.
