Sunday
A fair start to the morning for much of the south of the country; some good spells of sunshine here, but feeling cold in the wind. Increasing cloud through the morning, associated with some showers which will be moving south through northern England and Ireland, and then into Wales this afternoon. These will be remaining fair well scattered throughout the afternoon.Across more northern areas the cloud is going to be breaking and sunny spells will be developing, these moving south into Scotland, northern England, Ireland and Wales, as well as the Midlands by this evening. Highs of 16 to 20C.
Sunday Night
The remnants of the cloud and showers finally clear southern coasts of England late this evening, although some will be remaining over parts of the coasts of East Anglia throughout the night. It is going to be windy along these eastern coasts too. Further west it is going to be a dry night. The skies will be largely clear and the winds will be light in the west. Under the clear skies and lighter winds temperatures could fall as low as 2C in mid-Wales, nearer 9C on eastern coasts.
Monday
A cold and windy day to come over eastern coasts of England today. There will be showers affecting East Anglia and northeast England, some reaching the far southeast too. Further west it will be sunny and chilly i the wind. Little change into the afternoon with most western parts of the country staying dry in sunny spells, whilst the east has more showers with the winds easing towards the evening. Tops of 15 to 20C.
Tuesday
High pressure is dominating the weather through today once again. It is going to be bringing a cold start to the day through all areas, but especially in the west where there could be some morning mist patches. These clear away and then the morning is going to be fair with good sunny spells. It should stay largely dry into the afternoon with more sunshine to come, the best in Scotland and western England as well as Wales. Highs of 14 to 21C.
