Bank Holiday Monday
A cold morning to start the day over most of the country. Lots of sunshine around as well, the best of this is more western parts. The east is going to have more cloud drifting in off the sea and this may produce a shower. A very windy morning as well in the east with the risk of a shower on the eats coasts. It should stay dry into this afternoon, some good spells of sunshine with the winds easing in the east. The best of the sunshine in the west and a cold day with highs of 13C in northern Scotland, 19C in southern England.
Monday Night
A fair evening with good spells of sunshine and that wind easing on eastern coasts. There is the chance of a few spots of rain on eastern coasts too, although these fading. Through the night the skies are going to be clear and the winds are going to be falling light. A few mist patches in more sheltered areas my the morning and temperatures could get down to 1C over central parts of Wales and Scotland, 10C on eastern coasts.
Tuesday
High pressure remains dominant through today.It will be a very cold start to the day for many of us. There will be lots of sunshine, although some bits of low cloud could affect more eastern areas a swell. Into the afternoon it is going to be staying dry with more sunshine across most of the country. An increasing easterly wind to the south, but light winds elsewhere. Highs near 15 to 21C.
Wednesday
The high stays with us through today. Cloud may well drift in from the east in the morning, perhaps giving a few spots of rain on the coasts too. Further west the cloud is going to be breaking even further with sunny spells coming through. The best of these over western England, Wales and western Scotland. Staying dry with highs of 16 to 23C.
