Friday
Very windy again today with gales across Northern Ireland and northern England with gusts of 60 mph across northern England. Lots of showers to come across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England today with some brighter spells. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the south west of England will spread up into South Wales and the far south of England later in the afternoon as it turns heavier. Expect highs of 8 to 12C.

Friday Night
The winds moderate through the evening and the night and the rain in the far south extends up into central parts of England in the night. Showers persist in the west with the rest of Britain dry with clear spells. Lows of 3 to 10C north to south.

Saturday
A breezy day but still very windy across northern England. Outbreaks of residual rain across south east England will clear this morning. For much of Britain expect lots of dry weather with sunny spells but showers will affect western Scotland. This evening rain in the south west spreads north east into all of England and Wales and becomes heavy. Highs of 7 to 11C.

Sunday
Through the day outbreaks of rain will linger across northern parts of England but becomes lighter in the afternoon. Scattered showers are forecast across Wales and south west England with the rest of Britain fine and dry with sunny spells. There is a risk of showers in the far south of England tonight while much of the country is dry with clear spells. That will allow a frost to develop in the north. Highs of 5 to 10C.
