Showers in the west Fair for most seiten=4 abk=focus
Saturday
There could be some rain affecting the far southeast of England at first this morning, but this is going to be clearing away quickly. Most of the country is then dry, but cool with plenty of sunshine. There may be a few showers over northern and western parts of Scotland as well as western Wales and the extreme southwest of England. Into the afternoon there will be further showers on western coasts with an area of more persistent rain edging into the southwest of Wales. The showers in northern and western Scotland becoming more persistent too. Highs will be to 7C in northern Scotland, 11C in southern England.
Saturday Night
An area of cloud and showery rain asses through Wales and into northern England this evening, perhaps turning wintry over the Pennines. Some showers in western parts of Scotland too. For most other places skies will turn clearer and temperatures will be falling close to freezing. By the morning some thicker cloud will be approaching the far southeast of England and this is going to be bringing rain northwards, some of it heavy later. Lows at 0 to 4C.
Sunday
An area of rain pushes northwards through the country during Sunday. This is going to be affecting northern England through the afternoon. To the south it should be drier with some brighter spells for much of the Midlands and Wales, although an odd shower cannot be ruled out. Drier too through Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells here, although there is a risk of an odd light shower in the east. Highs will be to a cold 6 to 9C.
Monday
An area of cloud may bring some showery outbreaks of rain across Wales and southern England today. To the north conditions are much drier with some breaks appearing in the cloud. These will allow a few bright or sunny spells to break through the cloud. A few showers may affect the west of Scotland too, although for most of Scotland and Ireland the day should be fair with sunny spells. Highs of 6 to 10C.
