Sunday
Cloud and rain over the far southeast of England this morning. There will be some heavy bursts of rain at times, and this whole area of rain slipping into East Anglia through the morning and into the afternoon, before clearing into the North Sea. There will be an area of showers across northern England throughout the day, with the threat of a shower over western coasts of Wales too. For most of the rest of England, Wales and Scotland as well as Ireland the day will be dry and bright with sunny spells. A cold day with tops of 7C in northern Scotland, 12C in southeast England.

Sunday Night
Showers and outbreaks of rain moving onto southern coasts of England through tonight, these edging slowly northwards. There will be a few showers affecting northeast England, but these should fade into the North Sea. Elsewhere the skies are going to be clearer and we could find things turning misty by the morning. A low risk of an area of showers passing into western Wales and then across northern England, but these fading through the early hours. A very cold night for some under the clearer skies at -2 or -3C, but holding to 2C where it is cloudier.

Monday
A shallow area of low pressure may bring a zone of showers across southwest England through Monday. The risk of showers spreading eastwards along southern counties of England through the day. Some showers for the north and west of Scotland and a few down eastern coasts of England too. For most the day starts misty with some fog patches in paces. These clearing quickly and then the day is likely to be a dry one with some good spells of sunshine. Highs will be at 7 to 10C.

Tuesday
A cold and frosty start to Tuesday morning. There will be some mist and fog patches too, but these are going to be lifting quickly. The day should then be a fair one across most of the country with good spells of sunshine. Increasing winds through Ireland in the morning, the cloud thickening here and rain arriving in the far west. This rain is going to be spreading east and will become heavy in Ireland in the afternoon, this reaching western Wales and western England as well as western Scotland in the evening. The winds to gale force in the west later too. Highs at 6 to 11C.
