More cloud and scattered showers are expected across eastern parts of Scotland and eastern England. Mist will clear central areas with a dry day here and across Wales, north west England and Northern Ireland with sunny spells. A number of showers will affect south west England. Expect highs of 8 to 11C.

Through the evening and night some rain is expected across Northern Ireland, south west England and in the far south of England. Just one or two showers linger near North Sea coasts with the rest of Britain dry with clear spells and a touch of frost in the north. Lows of 3 to 9C.

Saturday
A brisk east to east south east wind develops across western parts of Britain today. Sporadic outbreaks of rain will affect Northern Ireland, Wales and south west England. A few persist around North Sea coasts today with the rest of Britain dry with some bright or sunny spells. A lot of cloud to come across Britain tonight with some light rain in the east. Highs of 7 to 11C.

Sunday
A stiff north east wind brings lots of cloud into eastern and central parts of Britain along with scattered showers. A few showers too around the coasts of The West Country. The rest of Britain will be dry and b right with some sunshine and times. Tonight much of the United Kingdom should be dry with varying amounts of cloud and clear spells. Highs of 6 to 10C.
