An area of rain lies through southern Ireland, Wales and northern England. The rain will be heavy at times on western facing coasts and hills. Cloudy through southern England, a few spots of rain in the west, but more eastern areas are likely to be dry, although still cloudy. Windy through the southern half of the country with winds to gale force here and gusts to 50mph along southern coasts. Western Scotland will have cloud and some showers. More eastern areas will be dry with the cloud being broken here. Lighter winds across northern areas and temperatures at 5 to 11C.

More rain to come through southern Ireland and Wales, and a wet night across central and southern parts of England too. The rain will be heavy once again on western facing coasts and hills. Staying windy in these areas too with gales along southern coasts. Lighter winds through northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. mainly dry here with cloudy skies and the risk of some showers on the western coasts of Scotland. Lows at 4 to 10C.
Sunday
Cloud and rain through southern Ireland, Wales and southern England on Sunday morning. This area of rain edges northwards through the day to be affecting Ireland, Wales and much of northern England, this heavy over western coasts and hills. Drier weather to the south, although cloudy with some drizzle running along southern coasts. Scotland will be drier with cloud, although some showers affecting western Scotland. More eastern parts of Scotland will be brighter with a few sunny spells coming through. Highs at 6 to 12C.
Monday
Low pressure brings heavy rain overnight through Ireland and into southern Scotland. On Monday an area of strong winds and heavy rain affecting northwest England and Wales, this area sweeping eastwards, although the heaviest of the rain tending to fade away. Winds will be reaching gale force over England and Wales. Drier and brighter weather follows through Ireland and Scotland in the afternoon, with some showers on western coasts. Highs will be at 6 to 11C.
