Rain spreading in Turning very mild seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
A cloudy and misty morning across much of Britain. This morning one area of light rain in the west will weaken as it moves eastward as another area of heavier rain reaches Cornwall and Northern Ireland later this morning. In the afternoon heavier rain is forecast for Wales, south west England, Northern Ireland and parts of western Scotland. Still some patchy light rain likely in the east and over the hills of northern England and Scotland expect some light snow. Look for highs of 3 to 9C.

Monday Night
Through the evening we expect a good deal of cloud across the country with some light rain with some snow over the northern Pennines though the south west may be dry. Overnight we generally keep lots of cloud with still some patchy bits of rain across England and Wales, largely dry across Scotland. Expect lows of -1 to 4C.

Tuesday
Cloudy across eastern areas of England and Scotland but generally dry apart from some patches of drizzle. An area of light rain and drizzle spills in across western and central parts of Britain. This evening the rain turns heavy in the west with most areas seeing some heavier spells of rain in the night. Expect high temperatures of 6 to 9C.

Wednesday
Unseasonably mild today. Rain is expected across all parts of Britain and will be heavy in the east in the morning. In the afternoon it stays dull and drizzly across the country with extensive mist over the hills. Tonight most places look dry but we keep a lot of low cloud and mistiness with still a few pockets of drizzle in the west. Highs of 10 to 14C.
