More cloud generally across western parts Britain with a brisk south west wind blowing. Light rain comes into Cornwall in the morning then spreads up across south west England and Wales in the afternoon. Rather windy tonight as a band of pre persistent and heavy rain comes into Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Mild and cloudy again in the south. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 14C.
Friday
This morning looks wet across Scotland, northern England and Wales and as this clears in the afternoon the area of rain pushes down into the rest of England and becomes lighter. That rain in the south gradually clears tonight but may linger near the channel coast with showers across western Scotland, some heavy. A colder night to come with mostly clear skies leading to a frost in many areas. Highs of 10 to 14C.
