Monday
A cold day across Britain today. For Scotland and Northern Ireland expect a dry day with the best of the day's sunshine. Across England and Wales we expect a cloudy day over all with sporadic outbreaks of patchy light rain which may be mixed with some sleep over high ground. Look for highs of 4 to 8C.
Monday Night
During the evening the night we expect to keep quite a bit of low cloud and some mistiness will develop. Overall it looks dry but a few bits of patchy sleet or rain is possible in the south. Any breaks may come into northern England and western Wales as a frost develops where skies do clear. A colder night than of late with lows of -3 to 3C.
Tuesday
A cloudy but mainly dry day across southern England and Wales with just the odd showers in the south east. Sunnier across northern England and southern Scotland with some rain into the far north. A dry night to come. Cold again with a risk of a frost in the north in places. Highs of 5 to 8C.
Wednesday
High pressure will give the country a dry day but a north east wind will keep a fair amount of across England and Wales but it will be dry. Best of the sunshine today will be in the north and across Northern Ireland. It stays dry again tonight and cold too. A frost will develop across parts of the north. Some mist and fog redevelops across the country as well. Highs of 6 to 8C.
