Tuesday
For northern England, south west England, Wales and eastern Scotland expect a cold but fine morning with sunny spells. Elsewhere rather cloudy with a risk of scattered showers across East Anglia and the south east. Little change in the afternoon with still one or two showers across central and south east England. Look for highs of 6 to 9C.
Tuesday Night
During the evening and the night we expect to keep quite a bit of low cloud and some mistiness will develop across central and southern England but overall dry. To the north expect some clear spells and this will lead to a frost. Expect lows of -3 to 1C.
Wednesday
High pressure will give the country a dry day but a north east wind will keep a fair amount of across England and Wales but it will be dry. Best of the sunshine today will be in the north and across Northern Ireland which starts the day cold and frosty. It stays dry again tonight and cold too. A frost will develop across parts of the north. Some mist and fog redevelops across the country as well. Highs of 7 to 9C.
Thursday
Overall another rather cloudy day to come across the United Kingdom. An area of light rain moves into Scotland and dies out by the afternoon. For England, Wales and Northern Ireland it stays dry, perhaps a few chinks in the cloud will produce some fleeting sunshine. Some rain tonight for Northern Ireland. Elsewhere it remains dry, mostly cloudy with a touch of frost in places. Highs of 8 to 10C.
