Saturday
Gales will affect northern England but will moderate this afternoon. Heavy rain to start the day across Northern Ireland and Scotland. This clears Northern Ireland this morning then clears Scotland early this afternoon. A belt of rain across western England and Wales will push eastward clearing the far east of England early in the afternoon. Good sunny spells will follow in behind this belt of rain with a showers developing in the west. These may be heavy across Northern Ireland, western Wales, north west England and western Scotland. Highs today of 12 to 17C.
Saturday Night
These heavy showers in the north west will fade away during the evening with most inland areas dry with some early sunshine. Dry tonight with clear spells. Expect lows of 5 to 8C.
Sunday
A fine morning with sunny spells for much of inland Britain but a number showers will be found in the far west. In the afternoon expect a mixture of sunshine and showers for most areas and some of these will be locally heavy. Any showers will fade by evening with all parts of the United Kingdom to have a dry night with clear spells. Expect highs of 10 to 16C.
Monday
For central and southern parts of England it will be a dry day and perhaps dry as well to the east of the Pennines. The rest of Britain will be rather damp and cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this heavier in the morning than in the afternoon. Tonight looks wet and windy in the north and the west with south east England, The Midlands and East Anglia dry. Expect highs of 9 to 13C.
