Showers developing Some heavy seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
Some rain in the north of Scotland this morning. Most of inland Britain will start the day dry with sunny spells but showers around western coasts will push in across western Scotland, Northern Ireland, western England and Wales this morning. In the afternoon these will become more widespread and heavy but may start to fade from the west later in the afternoon. Highs today of 10 to 15C.
Sunday Night
Any residual showers across East Anglia and the south east will soon clear early this evening. A fine evening to come across Britain with some early sunshine then clear. Dry tonight with clear spells and this will lead to a colder night with lows of 3 to 5C.
Monday
For central and southern parts of England it will be a dry day and perhaps dry as well to the east of the Pennines with some early sunshine. The rest of Britain will be rather damp and cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this heavier in the morning than in the afternoon. Tonight looks wet and windy in the north and the west with south east England, The Midlands and East Anglia dry. Expect highs of 10 to 13C.
Tuesday
Another cloudy day across much of Britain and windy too with sporadic outbreaks of rain on and off. This will be more persistent and heavy across the north of Scotland today with gales developing in the north later. Through the evening and the night the rain retreats back into Scotland leaving the rest of England and Wales dry but cloudy. Milder today with highs of 11 to 16C.
