In the afternoon scattered showers are expected across Scotland northern and eastern parts of England. Dry across Wales and the rest of England with lots of sunshine. Cooler today with highs of 10 to 15C.
Tuesday Night
A fine evening to come right across Britain with some early evening sunshine for most areas and just a few showers near western coasts of Scotland. Tonight under clear skies expect a chilly night again with a touch of frost developing in the east as more cloud comes into the west with rain in the far west by morning. Expect lows of 0 to 5C.
Wednesday
Cloudy and windier today across the western half of the United Kingdom with the east to stay dry and brighter. In the afternoon the rain may reach western parts of the Midlands as it slips top the south east towards the channel. By evening the rain will be along the south coast into south west England and Wales but clears in the night as light rain moves back into western Scotland. Expect highs of 8 to 13C.
Thursday
Some rain to come across northern Scotland, Northern Ireland during the day. A few showers develop across southern England in the morning then may affect just about any place in the afternoon but still some good spells of sunshine will be found. Rain lingers in the far north west otherwise a dry night with clear spells and some fog patches. Highs of 11 to 15C.
