Fair and mainly dry Few showers on hills seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
A fair start to the morning for most parts of the country. There will be some good spells of sunshine to come, but also some mist patches at first; these soon clearing. Some cloud will be bubbling up through the morning, and this could produce an odd shower over the hills of southern England, Wales, the Pennines and Scotland by lunchtime. Into the afternoon it will be staying fair for most with more spells of sunshine and a few showers on the hills. Generally though it will be a dry afternoon and warm too. Highs at 19C through the Midlands in the sunshine, 14C in northern Scotland.

Monday Night
Still an odd shower on the hills through this evening, but these will be fading away fairly quickly. Then the evening and night should stay dry for most with clear skies and just an odd mist patch forming in more rural areas by the morning. The expecting will be western Scotland where there is a risk of a shower at any times. Quite a chilly night with lows of 3 to 6C.

Tuesday
A slack pressure flow through the country on Tuesday. Any morning mist patches will be fading away quickly to leave a fair start for most of England and Wales with some good spells of warm sunshine. Staying this way into the afternoon with more sunshine and generally dry conditions. For Scotland a weak front will be pushing east bringing some showery outbreaks of rain here, most to the north and west. Highs around a very warm 24C in southeast England, but just 7C in northern Scotland.

Wednesday
The flow becomes more of an east to northeasterly through Wednesday. This is going to be bringing more cloud than on previous days to much of the country at first. There could be s few spots of rain over the hills of Scotland, with a further area of rain and showers tracking northwards through southwest England and Wales. Into the afternoon the area of showery rain remains over Wales and the Midlands, tracking into northwest England in the afternoon. The best of the sunshine for this afternoon across northern Scotland. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, but another warm 23C through the Midlands and southern England.
