Wednesday
A fair and warm start to the morning for most places. There may be some mist and fog patches at first, but these will be clearing away quickly. Eastern coasts of England and Scotland will become increasingly prone to some low cloud and mist. Elsewhere the afternoon remains dry with plenty of sunshine and it will be warm too. Highs at 12c in northern Scotland, 25C in southeast England.

Wednesday Night
A mainly dry night ahead with some lengthy clear spells across much of England and Wales. There will be some mist or fog patches forming in more rural areas by the morning. Thicker cloud again for Scotland, this giving a few spots of light rain to the north and west. There will be some cloud for Ireland too, perhaps giving an odd shower. Lows of 4 to 7C for most.

Thursday
Morning mist and fog patches clearing away quickly on Thursday morning. It will then be a fair morning with good spells of sunshine throughout. There will again be more cloud in Scotland, although even here the cloud is going to be breaking. The afternoon stays dry and warm with lots of sunshine. There is the threat of some showers bubbling up over the hills, but these will be well isolated. An increasing east to southeast flow. Highs near 16C in central Scotland, 25C in southeast England. Friday
A breezier day for Friday. High pressure to the northeast and low pressure to the southwest bring a southeast wind through all areas. There should be plenty of sunshine for most of the country once again with only small amounts of cloud floating around. There could be a few showers on the hills of Wales and northwest England as well as western Scotland. Thicker cloud for Ireland with showers in the west again. Highs at 17C in northern Scotland but 25C in southeast England.
