Thursday
It is going to be a largely fair and warm start to the morning for most of the country. There will be some broken cloud across Ireland and northern England as well as brushing the coasts of northern Scotland. Elsewhere it should be dry and sunny, although there is a risk of a scattered shower bubbling up over the Welsh Mountains by lunchtime. The afternoon stays warm and sunny for most. There will be some isolated showers forming, most of these over the high ground of the Midlands, Wales, northwest England and Scotland. Highs near 13C in northern Scotland, more generally 18 to 23C, perhaps to 25C in London,.
Thursday Night
A scattering of heavy showers over the high ground of England, Wales and Scotland this evening. These fading away quickly. Conditions will then become dry with long clear spells. Mist patches forming in more rural areas towards the morning. Although most places become dry, there is a risk of an odd shower over western Ireland, and again the chance of a shower for the coasts of Essex and Kent by the morning. Lows at 4 to 8C.
Good Friday
Mist and fog patches clearing quickly on Friday morning. This leaves a fine start to the day with plenty of sunshine. There is a low risk of a shower over southeastern coasts, and some for western Ireland too. Clouds will be bubbling up during the day and this may trigger some isolated heavy showers across the Midlands, Wales and northwest England. Further showers in the afternoon for western Ireland where some could be heavy, but elsewhere it should be dry with more warm sunshine. Temperatures rising to around 17C in northern Scotland, 25C in southeast England. Saturday
Morning mist and fog patches once again through more rural areas. These burning away quickly in the sunshine. A fair start to the morning with plenty of sunshine and feeling very warm once again. There will be some cloud bubbling up in the afternoon, and a tendency for showers to be more widespread than on Friday, most of them to the west. Highs at 26C in southern England, 17C in northern Scotland.
