Staying very warm Scattered showers seiten=3 abk=focus

Saturday
A band of cloud and patchy rain associated with a cold front will affect Scotland and eastern Ireland this morning. The cloud and spots of rain will be edging slowly eastwards, fading away from most places as it reaches northwest England and western Wales. For the rest of the country it should be a fair and very warm morning. There will be some good spells of sunshine, although cloud is going to be bubbling up. This will be allowing some showers to be triggered in the afternoon, a few of them heavy and thundery. Drier, cooler and brighter weather following into Ireland and western Scotland. Highs will be near 13C in Northern Ireland and northern Scotland, 25C in southeast England.

Saturday Night
Any evening showers are likely to be fading away before midnight. There will then be lots of clear skies through much of southern England and Wales. Some cloud for northern Wales and northern England as well as western Scotland and the west of Ireland. Lows of 1 to 3C in Ireland and Scotland where the cold air has arrived, nearer 8 or 9C through much of central and southern England.

Easter Sunday
The remains of the weak front brings broken cloud through northern England, the Midlands and central southern England. Here could be a few showers from the cloud on and off during the day. Brighter but cooler weather to the west with sunny spells here. Thicker cloud and further rain moves into western Scotland and western Ireland later. Highs near 25C in southeast England, 18C through southern Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Holiday Monday
A cold front edges eastwards bringing cloud and periods of rain to northern England and Wales on Monday. Most of southern and eastern England are likely to be dry with sunny spell and very warm here too. Drier and brighter weather through Ireland and most of Scotland, but much cooler here. A few heavy showers forming over southern England in the afternoon.
