Friday
A cold and cloudy start to Friday morning across much of England, eastern Wales and eastern Scotland. There will be a few spots of rain in the wind, especially in more eastern areas. Further west it should be a brighter start with good spells of sunshine, the best of these over Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland. During this afternoon the cloud starts to break in more eastern areas, although thicker cloud for the far south of England with a chance of some showers here. Staying cloudy over northeast England and eastern Scotland, although western Wales, northwest England, western Scotland and Ireland will be fair with good spells of sunshine. Highs at 14 to 21C.
Friday Night
Cloud thickens across the southern half of England and southern Wales tonight. This is going to be bringing a few showers over high ground, but for most it should be dry. Further north it is going to be dry with the cloud breaking. Clear skies for Scotland and northwest England as well as Ireland. Lows near 3C in central Scotland, 7C in central and southern England.
Saturday
A cold easterly wind will be blowing through the country during today. This brings cloud to southern parts of England and Wales, with a few spots of rain at first. Further north the cloud is more broken with good spells of sunshine, especially in the west. The afternoon sees the showers fading from the far south. The sunshine is likely to spread to all parts of the British Isles apart from the very far south of England. Highs getting to 21C in southern England 14C in the far north of Scotland.
Sunday
Some cloud again across the far south of England. For most though the morning will be breezy with good spells of sunshine. Thicker cloud spreading north through Ireland and into southern and western Wales and southwest England, with some rain spreading north here. Increasing cloud across the rest of Wales and the Midlands as well as central southern England. Staying sunny through northern and eastern areas, and feeling cold in the wind. Highs near 15 to 21C.
