Saturday
An area of rain, heavy in places is expected for Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England into west Wales this morning. The rest of England will be dry with the best sunshine in the south east. In the afternoon clears northern Scotland and Northern Ireland but lingers across southern Scotland, northern England into Wales and south west England. Staying dry and warm in the south east today with highs of 16 to 25C north to south.

Saturday Night
This evening that area of rain will persist across northern England, Wales and the West Country. To the north and south it will be dry with clear spells across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Lows of 10 to 16C.

Sunday
By Sunday morning that belt of rain will lie from northern east England into the Midlands and central southern parts of England. It then is expected to move into East Anglia and south east England in the afternoon as another batch of rain sweeps into south west England and Wales. This moves east during the evening clearing in the night. Highs of 16 to 20C.

Monday
Not as warm today. East Anglia and south east England may escape with a fine, dry and mostly sunny day. The rest of the United Kingdom will be unsettled with a mixture of sunshine and showers and some will be heavy. As the showers fade this evening more rain sweeps in across the north and the west in the night as strong gales develop in the north west. Expect highs of 15 to 18C.
