Sunday
An area of rain, heavy in places is expected for central and southern England this morning. This tracks north east clearing eastern parts of England before mid afternoon. Another batch of rain spreads into western England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Wales this afternoon as it turns dry and a bit sunnier across eastern Britain. Windy in the south west today with highs of 16 to 21C north to south.
Sunday Night
This evening that area of heavy rain will be across Scotland into north west England. Some rain in the extreme south west of England and Wales as well. Tonight that rain area lies across northern Scotland down into the Irish Sea along the western coasts of England and Wales. Some rain too may threaten Kent. Lows of 10 to 16C.
Monday
Not as warm today. Much of East Anglia and south east England may escape with a fine, dry and mostly sunny day. The rest of the United Kingdom will be unsettled with a mixture of sunshine and showers and some will be heavy. As the showers fade this evening more rain sweeps in across the north and the west in the night as strong gales develop in the north west. Highs of 15 to 19C.
Tuesday
Very windy with gales expected and gusts up to 60mph from the Irish Sea southward. Fair and dry across East Anglia and the south east of England this morning. Elsewhere a miserable, wet morning with spells of heavy rain. This clears from Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland replaced by showers. That rain spreads into the rest of England this afternoon and clears by the end of the evening. Expect highs of 15 to 18C.
