Monday
Parts of East Anglia and south east England may escape with a fair, dry day with a few sunny spells. The rest of the United Kingdom will be unsettled and rather breezy with a mixture of cloud, a few sunnier spells and showers and some will be heavy across Wales and Scotland. Highs of 15 to 19C north to south.
Monday Night
This evening the showers will fade as outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland, Wales and western parts of Scotland and England. Overnight this rain becomes quite heavy in the north and west as the rain sweeps into the rest of the United Kingdom as gales develop in the west. Lows of 10 to 16C.
Tuesday
Very windy with gales expected and gusts up to 60mph from the Irish Sea southward across Wales into south west England. A miserable, wet morning with spells of heavy rain across England and Wales. This has cleared from Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland replaced by showers. That rain the clears from East Anglia and south east England during the afternoon as it turns dry across The Midlands and north east England. Still some showers tonight around western coasts otherwise a dry night to come. Highs of 13 to 18C.
Wednesday
After a dry, mostly sunny start across the Midlands, and eastern parts of England and Scotland, showers in the west will develop in most areas through the course of the morning and the afternoon, some of these becoming heavy in the west. The showers die out by evening as rain sweeps in across Wales, Northern Ireland and south west England tonight. Expect highs of 14 to 18C.
