Wednesday
Not as windy as Tuesday but still a windy day to come across the United Kingdom. Western parts of Britain and Wales are likely to see the bulk of the showers today and while a few are possible in the east, eastern parts of England and Scotland will be drier and sunnier. Later more persistent rain comes into Northern Ireland and West Wales. Highs of 14 to 19C north to south.
Wednesday Night
This evening the showers will fade as outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland, Wales and some western and central parts of England. Overnight this rain becomes heavier with rain into most areas though Scotland will see showers in the west, dry in the east. Still windy with lows of 10 to 14C.
Thursday
Another windy day with sporadic outbreaks of light rain across Wales and central and southern parts of England. Elsewhere expect a few showers in the west, dry and sunnier in the east. Rain spreads onto much of the United Kingdom during the night, turning heavy across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs of 15 to 19C.
Friday
It becomes warmer in the south today. Heavy rain is expected across northern Scotland. Dull, misty and damp in the morning across England and Wales with patchy light rain and drizzle. This fades as it turns dry and brighter in the south though lots of low cloud and pockets of drizzle will affect the coasts. More rain comes in across western Britain overnight. Expect highs of 17 to 23C.
