Still windy across northern England and Scotland with gusts to gale force. Spells of rain across Scotland will persist for much of the day. Scattered showers will affect northern England and North Wales. Expect a breezy but a largely dry, mostly sunny day across The Midlands, East Anglia and south east England. Highs of 13 to 18C north to south.

This evening Some rain comes in across Wales and then into the West Midlands tonight and still some rain to come for the north of Scotland. Mainly dry for the rest of Britain with clear spells. Expect lows of 9 to 12C.

For Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England expect a day of sunshine and showers. The rest of England and Wales will be fine and dry with good spells of sunshine. The showers soon fade away by evening time then dry and clear by night with a few fog patches developing in central and southern parts of England. Highs of 15 to 18C.
Wednesday
With high pressure in charge, a fine day to come for much of the United Kingdom. Just a few isolated showers are possible for western Scotland. Outbreaks of rain spread into Northern Ireland tonight but dry with clear spells for must of Britain. Expect highs of 15 to 19C.
