Outbreaks of residual rain across the south east of England will clear in the afternoon. Heavy showery rain too spreads in across northern parts of England with a few showers across Wales. Elsewhere it looks fine and dry with sunny spells. Highs of 13 to 18C.

More heavy rain to come across north west Scotland. Apart from a few showers around the coasts of Wales and south west England it looks dry for this evening and overnight with clear spells. Lows of 6 to 14C.
Thursday
Eastern parts of Scotland and England along with central and southern parts of England will have a fair, dry day with sunnier spells. In the west showers are forecast but will be interspersed with a few sunny intervals. Rain spreads into Scotland and Northern Ireland in the night with England and Wales dry with clear spells. Expect highs of 13 to 17C.
Friday
A cloudy, damp day to come with outbreaks of rain across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. Some light rain also reach western and northern Wales. Elsewhere it will be fair and dry with the best of the sunshine in the morning in the south. Tonight the rain band will lie from northern Scotland into Northern Ireland. Dry across the rest of Britain. Expect highs of 13 to 18C.
