Rain in southeast Temperatures rising seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
A damp morning across East Anglia and southeast England with outbreaks of rain, most of them light; rather misty here too. A further area of rain affects western Scotland and western Ireland. Elsewhere the morning should be dry and bright as well as rather breezy. This afternoon stays cloudy and damp across the far south of England, although the rain will be fading. Some showers in Ireland and western Scotland, but for most the day is going to be staying dry with sunny spells. Highs at 14C in northwest Scotland, 21C in southeast England.

Monday Night
Cloud and outbreaks of rain passing through Ireland and into the west of Scotland tonight. Plenty of low cloud and mist affecting these western coasts too. The drizzle could affect western Wales too. More central and eastern areas will be drier with broken cloud. Low to between 7 and 11C.

Tuesday
High pressure building to the east on Tuesday. This brings a dry day through most central and eastern parts of England with some warm sunny spells here once morning mist patches have lifted. To the north and west fronts will be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle, low cloud on the western coasts too. Little change through the afternoon with more spots of rain and low cloud in the west, although remaining fair in the east. Highs at 23C in eastern England, 15C in western Scotland.

Wednesday
High pressure to the east again through Wednesday. A cold front will edge into western Ireland later, bringing some rain here. For most though the day is going to be dry and becoming very warm. The best of the sunshine will be through more eastern areas of the country. Temperatures rising to 25C in the sunshine, 20C in western Ireland.
