Tuesday
Outbreaks of heavy rain will affect northern Scotland this morning this then turns lighter in the afternoon. Very windy here as well. Some light rain too for south west Scotland. England and Wales will be dry this morning but with a good deal of low cloud and mistiness. Gradually it brightens up leaving a fine, pleasantly warm afternoon with sunny spells. Highs of 17 to 23C.
Tuesday Night
Still some light rain for northern Scotland this evening then mainly dry into the night but rather windy in the north and the west. England and Wales will have a fine, dry evening ahead of another mild night with some fog patches developing across East Anglia, The Midlands and the south east. Lows of 11 to 15C.
Wednesday
A lot of cloud across north western parts of Scotland today with sporadic outbreaks of rain and very windy with coastal gales. Any mist is expected to soon clear eastern parts of England, otherwise another fine, dry day with lots of sunshine. Very warm as well, especially in the south with above normal temperatures up to 25C in the south. Little change is expected into the evening and night with much of Britain fine and dry with clear spells. Gales will affect the far north west of Scotland.
Thursday
An area of light rain persists across the north west of Scotland and here it stays quite windy. Morning mist patches clear the south east and southern parts of England. All parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland will have another, fine, summery day with long sunny spells. Dry tonight across the whole of the country. Expect highs of 20 to 25C.
