Hot & dry Staying very warm this weekend seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
Some mist and fog is possible across east and south eastern parts of England but this will burn off quite quickly this morning. Much of England and Wales will have another fine, sunny and warm day as temperatures again rise to well above normal. Eastern parts of Scotland will also be fine and sunny while a band of rain will affect western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs of 19 to 25C.

Friday Night
That area of rain across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland moves into most of Scotland this evening as it clears Northern Ireland tonight. Some rain may also edge into west Wales. Elsewhere fine, dry evening and night with clear spells and some fog in the south east by morning. Lows of 11 to 15C.

Saturday
Any mist is expected to soon clear eastern parts of England, otherwise another fine, dry day with lots of sunshine. Very warm as well, especially in the south with above normal temperatures up to 25C in the south but 16C for northern Scotland. That band of rain will lie from southern Scotland into the Irish Sea this morning and will linger there into the afternoon and the evening then spreads in across northern England and west Wales.

Sunday
An area of patchy, light rain across northern England clears before the afternoon. For much of the United Kingdom it is looking fine and dry with sunny spells and some occasional cloud. Still quite warm in the south but a bit fresher in the north today. Tonight it becomes wet and windy across northern Scotland, staying fine and dry for the rest of Britain. Expect highs of 14 to 25C north to south.
